Welcome To The Top 10 Authors Page !

We have currently certified all 10 of the authors on this page as "The Top Ten Authors on GOOD EBOOKS".

From time to time, we, at GOOD EBOOKS run across exceptional authors and we believe they should be recognized ! That is why we have created this webpage.

Normally authors get recognized for being "Best Sellers", or perhaps because their book is made into a movie, or maybe they are celebrities. That's great, they certainly do deserve a lot of credit and a few of our author friends fit into one or more of those categories.

We, at GOOD EBOOKS, have our own criteria to determine if we believe an author has what it takes to be in our Top Ten !

We hope you, as a reader, will review these authors, peruse their writings, and see if you agree with us. However, we have the advantage of a close relationship with most of them !

We are proud of all our author friends who we have helped, and 10 of these currently fit into our Top Ten !

To be fair, as time goes by, we will exchange authors in the Top Ten.

Feel free to post any part of this webpage content, and any image as well ! Contact us with questions, comments, and suggestions !

Thank you, and I wish you "pleasant reading" from all of us at GOOD EBOOKS.

Joan Hall Hovey

I've always been drawn to the dark side of the human psyche, and devoured everything from Edgar Allan Poe to Shirley Jackson growing up. It is no surprise to me I turned out to be a writer of psychological suspense, often with threads of paranormal, mystery and romance.

I like to write about ordinary women who are at a difficult time in their lives, and are suddenly faced with an external evil force. Women who are stronger than they think they are. I didn't think a whole lot about theme until I had written a couple of books, but I realized with the writing of my third novel 'Chill Waters' that my books generally have to do with betrayal and abandonment in some form, and learning to trust again. And more important, learning to trust oneself. Almost any good book will tell you something about the author herself. (Or himself.) You can't avoid it. But first and foremost I want to give readers a roller-coaster ride, one that keeps them on the edge of that proverbial seats and resonates in the imagination long after the last page is read.

Monya Clayton

Monya was born an incurable reader and hopeful writer into Australiaís pragmatic working class. She married Arthur at eighteen, a partnership now filling more than fifty years. They have four children of whom they are immensely proud, and a raft of grandchildren who promise to equal the qualities of their parents.

Monya earned moderate successes in writing until her first book was published when she was aged 61. She continues to write, disabled and not agreeable to the slowness of being older, while Arthur continues to use the talent in his hands in the same spirit.

They live in a home they built themselves in a small country town, ruled by a spoiled and loveable cat.

Janis Hutchinson

Janis Hutchinson is an award-winning author of both fiction and nonfiction, graduated Summa Cum Laude with B.th and M.A. degrees in Theology, and was awarded "Writer of the Year" (2008) by the American Christian Writers Association. A former (very active), member of the mainline Mormon Church for 35 years and 2 years in Mormon Fundamentalist organizations, she is in demand as a speaker on Christian radio and TV, and lives near Seattle, Washington. Her blog is at wwwjanishutchinson.blogspot.com (no dot after the www), and she loves to hear from her readers at janishutchinson@comcast.net.

The following are more highlights about my background and what triggered the writing of my first book:

As a child growing up in Southern California, I devoured books--Nancy Drew, the Hardy Boys, the Oz books, Lassie books, and a zillion novels, plus was an avid movie-goer. I made my first attempt at writing when I was twelve. However, I was put down so drastically by a relative, that I did not begin any serious writing until in my thirties, when it became my passion. In my early years as a Mormon, I sold articles to the Improvement Era, the official LDS Church's magazine, excerpts of which were used in their radio commercials on the family.

D.G. Kaye

D.G. Kaye hails from Toronto, Canada.

D.G. is the author of Conflicted Hearts - A Daughter's Quest for Solace From Emotional Guilt and Meno-What? - A Memoir. D.G. writes nonfiction and memoirs about her experiences, matters of the heart and women's issues.

D.G. began writing when pen and paper became tools to express her pent-up emotions during a turbulent childhood. Her writing began as notes and cards she wrote for the people she loved and admired when she was afraid to use her voice.

Through the years, Kaye journaled about life, writing about her opinions on people and events and later began writing poetry and health articles for a Canadian magazine as her interest grew in natural healthcare. Kaye became interested in natural healing and remedies. She encountered quite a few serious health issues--family and her own, which fueled her interest in proactive health care. Against many odds, D.G. has overcome adversity several times throughout her life.
